  The rolling gate is driven by a small motor, which not only often gets stuck and cannot move, but also causes the small motor to stall, overload, and burn out due to unstable voltage, high temperature, high humidity, and other reasons. So small motors must be designed with protective circuits to ensure their reliability and stability.

  There are various methods for protecting small motors. Previously, bimetallic temperature controllers were often used for protection. When the coil temperature of the small motor increased, the circuit would be disconnected, and when the temperature decreased, the circuit would be reconnected. If the power supply was not cut off, the motor would continue to be powered on and work, and a longer time would burn out the small motor.

  The self recovery fuse PTC recommended here has a protective and limiting effect on both temperature and current, and its sensing speed of temperature and current changes is much faster than that of bimetallic temperature controllers.

  When the small motor of the rolling gate is stuck or the temperature and current are higher than the designed temperature and current, the self recovery fuse will immediately activate protection to limit the current of the rolling gate motor and achieve the protection purpose. Only when the power supply is cut off or the fault is repaired, the self recovery fuse will automatically recover, and continuous power will not recover.

  This solves the potential danger of the motor being burned out due to repeated work due to a decrease in temperature, while also accurately protecting the rolling gate motor and system equipment. This scheme of using self restoring fuses is better than other current methods, as long as a fuse element is connected in series to the coil or power line of the small motor of the rolling gate, it is convenient, fast, and reliable!
